The Northern Ireland Hospice are seeking to hire a Shop Supervisor

The Role
You will be a self-starter with the ability to prioritise the demands of the role and optimise sales and revenue generation. Your great communication skills and drive to achieve excellent customer service will enable you to provide a warm, welcoming experience for customers, and volunteers alike. You will have a resilient and an energetic approach to work, our stores get busy, and the role can be physically & mentally demanding particularly when dealing with large numbers of customers, stock, and donations.

The Organisation
The Northern Ireland Hospice is a local charity offering specialist respite, symptom management and end of life palliative care to infants, children, and adults across Northern Ireland.
With 24 shops located across Northern Ireland, our shops are a vital source of income helping to support local people living with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses. 

Salary:                        £19,341 to £20,558 pro rata per annum
Contract:                    Permanent
Location:                    Ballygowan                 
Hours:                        22.5 hours per week (3 days, Monday-Saturday)

Essential Criteria

  • Retail experience to include stock control, rotation and merchandising, excellent customer service.    
  • Have good numeracy, literacy, and basic IT skills
