Background
From our headquarters in Antrim, Robinson Services employ around 1200 people UK wide, providing Security, Cleaning, Hygiene and Workwear services to a range of customers from the public and private sector including universities, colleges, offices, shopping centres, car showrooms and retail outlets.
The Role
We are seeking a Sales Executive who will be responsible for sale of Hygiene Services, including matwear, to new and existing customers throughout Northern Ireland. In this role you will be responsible for identifying and managing sales opportunities whilst building an in-depth understanding of client needs.
Specifically, the role may involve:
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers.
• Develop a new sales pipeline for hygiene and matwear services, and deliver on the sales projections.
• Deliver sales and describe products or services, in order to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or service from the relevant division of Robinson Services being presented at that time to the prospective client.
• Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
• Negotiating the terms and agreement and closing sales
• Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback
• Recording sales and order information
• Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers.
• Respond to correspondence from customers and/or to follow up initial sales contacts.
• Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and orders.
The Person – Criteria
• Previous selling experience essential
• Competent in the use of IT, including Microsoft Office packages, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
• Demonstrates highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including active listening, speaking (clarity and recognition) and oral expression and comprehension.
• Knowledge of the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland markets is desirable.
• Strong reporting and administration experience.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to work on own initiative or as a flexible team player.
• Have a full current UK driving licence
• Can demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with the ability to attend training and events outside of normal working hours as and when required.
