Sales Executive – Cardiff (24/CDFF)

Randox Testing Services is the market leader in the provision of drug and alcohol testing services, working to ensure safety and wellbeing in the workplace. Due to the increased recognition of the importance of drug and alcohol testing in the workplace and Randox Testing Services continued success, we are seeking to expand our UK sales team with the addition of highly motivated and target driven individual. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for the sales and promotion of Randox Testing Services throughout a wide range of industries, developing business with current customers as well as winning new business. 

This position is based in Cardiff, covering the Southwest of England and South Wales. Travel will be required within the territory and potentially further afield. 

The role:

•    To prepare and use a planned sales approach / presentation, designed to achieve maximum results from available sales opportunities. 
•    Qualifying customers, handling objections, product presentation and demonstrations, closing and follow-ups.
•    Developing an extensive knowledge of Randox Testing Services Products/Services, including prices and key features of competitor.
•    To utilise the CRM system daily; to plan calls, when visiting customers and to capture customer and market information.
•    To handle all customer queries within a sufficient time frame (no longer than 48 hours), in a professional manner.
•    Providing reports on sales activities including follow-ups, new clients, etc and ensuring accurate sales forecasts are generated.
•    Attending product and sales training courses / conferences as necessary to establish and maintain an adequate level of product knowledge.
•    To participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximize sales penetration.
•    Attending industry specific seminars and exhibitions and reporting business intelligence.

Your Profile:

•    Be qualified to degree level & have minimum of 12 months sales experience with proven new business.  
•    Self-Starter mindset with ambitions to build a career in sales. 
•    Possess excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills.
•    Demonstrate excellent presentation skills, creating and delivery.
•    Computer skills in the use and application of Microsoft Office packages.


•    Sales and / or Account Management experience within drug and alcohol testing.
•    An awareness of Total Quality Management Systems. 
•    A working knowledge of health and safety requirements.
