Ulster Rugby are currently inviting applications for the post of Rugby Participation Officer. This exciting role will provide rugby development services for Rugby Clubs, Primary schools & Secondary schools within the allocated region of Ulster.
It is desirable that the successful candidate currently hold either; IRFU Stage 1 (Childrens Coaching Course) or Stage 2 (Youth Coaching Course) Coaching Qualification (or equivalent). Applicants who do not currently hold either of the qualifications will be considered, however it will be a condition of employment that the successful candidate attends a course when required.
The successful candidate should have demonstrable experience of coaching at Stage 1 or Stage 2 of the LTPD pathway (age 6-15).
It is essential that they can work flexible hours, including weekends & evenings, have access to a form of transport insured for business use that will permit the post holder to meet the requirements of the post in full, be prepared to undertake an Access NI check and are eligible to work and live in the UK at the closing date for applications.
Being able to use own initiative appropriately, having a proven ability to work unsupervised, self-motivated and a good team player is key.
The role will be offered on a fixed term contract.
