Room Leader – Wobblers (Temporary Maternity Cover)

We wish to recruit a Temporary Room Leader (Wobblers) for our in Little Gems Day Nursery, Dundonald, working 36 hours per week. This role is to cover a period of Maternity Leave of up to one year. As a Room Leader you must have the necessary skills and experience it takes to lead a team. Your duties will include managing the activities in the room in line with current curriculum standards and all aspects of childcare.

Essential Criteria
Applicants must hold NVQ level 3, CACHE diploma or equivalent along with extensive experience in a day nursery.  Experience in working with this age group would be an advantage.
Extensive experience within a childcare setting.
Ability to lead a team.
People management skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with external contacts, parents, and children.
