Join the Pre School team in Little Gems Day Nursery and help deliver the programme in line with the NI Pre-School Curriculum. This is a maternity cover placement over term time.
Experiance of working in a day nursery setting is essential with the Pre School age group and all applicants must have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 Childcare or equivalent.
The role involved developing observations and planning along with the individual educational plans and care plans. Team members also liaise with parents and external agencies, support children with Special Needs and contribute to team meetings.
The hours of work will be 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday (25 hours). There may be a requirement to work additional hours for staff training/meetings.

Essential Criteria
- Applicants must hold NVQ level 3, CACHE diploma or equivalent along with extensive experience in a day nursery. Experience in working with this age group would be an advantage.
- Extensive experience within a childcare setting.
- Ability to lead a team.
- People management skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with external contacts, parents, and children.
