QC Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Analyst to join Randox, at our Science Park in Antrim (Day shifts). The successful candidate will work as part of the Serum QC Day shift team.
                                  
The Role:

• Performing various analytical procedures
• Following quality control procedures
• Operation of various automated clinical chemistry analysers to generate reliable analytical data
• Accurate maintenance of Quality control records
• Test Clinical Chemistry and Immunology products, ensuring they conform to testing specifications
• Analysis of external quality assessment samples.
• Trouble shoot internal and external queries
• Operate, maintain and calibrate automated analysers and general equipment used in the lab

The Candidate:
Essential:

• Be organised, have a good eye for detail and the ability to complete paperwork accurately
• Work well as part of a team as well as alone
• Computer skills
• Be able to prioritise and organise their time well to meet targets
• Ability to learn and retain information quickly.
• Qualified to degree level in a science degree or similar

Desirable:

• Previous experience working in a lab environment
• Analytical experience
