Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are currently recruiting for Purchase Ledger Assistant to work efficiently as part of the Administration Team. In this role you will support the Admin team, assisting with a high volume purchase ledger, ensuring it is up to date and maintained to the highest standards. The successful candidate will report to the Admin Manager and work as part of the wider Admin team.

Hours of work: Monday – Standard hours will be Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. 40 hours per week. Flexibility is required to work additional hours on occasion as needed. (Flexibility may be considered e.g 4 days per week)
Essential Criteria:
Minimum 1year previous Sage or similar accounts system experience
Previous experience working in a busy accounts department
Previous high volume purchase ledger experience
Strong Excel skills and excellent communication skills
Mathematics and English GCSE’s A-C or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role working in a busy office environment
Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize workload
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Good IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work as part of a team and to use own initiative
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience completing Payroll
