Level 3 Network Engineer

The L3 Network Engineer will cover implementation, management, maintenance and support of all network infrastructure, network management platforms with a key focus on Telefónica Tech’s MPLS/SD-WAN and MWAN product offerings. Key Responsibilities: • Support of MPLS/SD-WAN and MWAN platforms • Day-to-day maintenance and operation of the above in secure environments • Implementation of any new systems related to these areas • Continual improvement of the systems based on changing demands • Liaising with various departments within the business • Coordinating with 3rd party suppliers and partners to support, maintain and implement these systems • Integrity and control of business data • Daily management and monitoring of core network systems in the Network Operations Centre • Datacentre/client visits for hardware and software maintenance and installation • 24/7 support cover In addition to the above duties and responsibilities the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity change the general character or level of responsibility to the post.
