HOURS OF WORK:                  37.5 hours per week
                                                   Monday – Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm

Job Purpose

The role of the IT Infrastructure Team Leader will involve overseeing a support team ensuring that our stakeholders receive an excellent experience of our systems and services. The individual will be the leading voice for our technical support team, by resolving business queries and issues and where necessary, escalating more advanced requests to the Information Technology Manager.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Assisting the Information Technology department by:

• Being the first responder to incoming Servicedesk queries and allocate requests to support technicians.
• Building working relationships with our IT system and service users and capitalise on feedback to improve departmental performance.
• Ensuring service requests are dealt with in an effective and prompt manner in line with departmental service level agreements.
• Ensuring user help and technical support documentation are in place.
• Ensuring orders are in place for existing IT contracts and raising requisitions for new products and services in line with company procurement policy.
• Reporting monthly on Servicedesk performance and cybersecurity compliance in line with business driven KPIs.
• Ensuring that IT systems and services maintain cybersecurity baseline standards and where necessary escalate issues to the Information Technology Manager.
