ILBF New Entrant Trainee
Northern Ireland Screen’s Irish Language Broadcast Fund is seeking applications from fluent Irish speakers for the ILBF New Entrant Scheme in Television Skills. Trainees on the scheme will learn the craft of television while on placement with television production companies throughout Northern Ireland.
The ILBF New Entrant Scheme is a 12-month paid placement (Real Living Wage) aimed at those who are new to the industry – 6 training places in total. Essential criteria for the scheme require applicants to be fluent in written and spoken Irish.
The trainees are placed with television production companies and with the local TV station (NVTV) in Belfast and other locations in Northern Ireland.
The deadline for applications is Thursday 1st June 2023 at 5pm. Applications received after this deadline will not be accepted.
We are planning to hold interviews w/b Monday 12th June with a proposed start date of Monday 4th September 2023.
Tá iarratais á lorg ag an Chiste Craoltóireachta Gaeilge ó dhaoine a bhfuil Gaeilge líofa acu do Scéim na nIontrálaithe Nua. I rith na scéimeanna lánaimseartha beidh na hoiliúnaithe ag foghlaim cheird na teilifíse agus iad ar socrúchán ag comhlachtaí léiriúcháin teilifíse agus an staisiúin teilifíse áitiúil NVTV i dTuaisceart Éireann.
Is socrúchán bliana ar íocaíocht (pá maireachtála) í an scéim d’Iontrálaithe Nua i Scileanna Teilifíse agus í dírithe ar dhaoine a bhfuil an earnáil nua acu – [6 áit ar fad]. Caithfidh Gaeilge líofa a bheith ag na hoiliúnaithe, idir labhairt agus scríobh.
Spriocdháta le haghaidh iarratas: 5.00i.n. Déardaoin, 1ú Meitheamh 2023 (ní ghlacfar le haon iarratas i ndiaidh an spriocdháta).
Beidh na hagallaimh ar siúl seachtain an 12ú Meitheamh agus tús curtha leis an scéim ar an 4ú Meán Fómhair 2023.
