The Mount Charles Group is seeking to recruit an Environmental & Sustainability Co-ordinator to join its rapidly expanding team based in Belfast.

The successful candidate will benefit from an agile working policy alongside a flexible approach to working hours, with the expectation to be working in the office a minimum of three days out of five.

Working Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 35 hours per week

The Role:

  • The tasks of the Environmental & Sustainability Co-ordinator will include administrative & ad hoc tasks including the following:
  • Assisting Head of HSQE in planning and arranging training and engagement sessions across the Group.
  • Assist with Vital data capture across the group relating to Carbon Footprint, both digital and physical and compiling statistics and reports.
  • Implementing and maintaining Environmental audit schedules including upload and corrective actions.
  • Any other administrative duties required as role develops.
  • Completion of ESOS reporting.
  • Full training on company systems given.
  • Further training available to progress role if desired.
  • First Aid and Fire Warden duties optional with full training given.

The Person:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and using SharePoint
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent in Environmental Management and Sustainability.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and etiquette for all verbal and written communication.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment and able to use DSE throughout the day.
  • Thirst for knowledge and shared desire for continual improvement.
  • Punctual and reliable.
