Principle Duties:

  1. Loading shipments
  2. Unloading raw material/packing
  3. Labelling shipments
  4. Completing despatch documents
  5. General Duties:
  6. Loading parts onto trailers as per daily customer requirement
  7. Preparation of shipping paperwork and labels for each shipment.
  8. Operating customer EDI system for all shipments
  9. Unloading and keeping stock of empty packaging returned from customer.
  10. Receiving aluminium – weighing vehicle in and out, unloading aluminium and completing paperwork
  11. Receiving goods, checking against purchase order, entering details in receiving log and delivering goods to appropriate department
  12. Practice good housekeeping and safety procedures
  13. Participate with team working, information sharing, 5S and Continuous Improvement Programmes
  14. Ensure compliance with all Company policies and systems, including the quality, health, safety and environmental policies and management systems.
  15. Other duties as assigned

Essential Criteria:

  • Forklift Licence (Counter balance)
  • Import and/or export experience
  • IT literate, proficient in MS Office
  • Previous warehousing experience
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good organizational skills
  • French language skills
  • Customer focus and teamwork skills
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation
  • Problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing/materials environment
  • Experience of using Sage ERP
