Despatch Operative

Our client, Cranswick in Cullybackey, are seeking a highly motivated Despatch Operator to join a busy team in a fast-paced environment.  The role will involve the palletising of vacuum packed, boxed and crated fresh meat and the loading of vehicles for despatch.
 
Pay Rate: £9.79 Per Hour + Holiday Pay

Hours per week:  40

Working hours: 
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm

Job Type: Full Time, Ongoing to Permanent position (subject to 3 month probationary period)

Job Duties:
–  Strapping of boxed product as it passes from the packing room.
–  Load vehicles using pump trucks/stand on pallet trucks, ensuring that vehicles are clean before loading. 
–  Scanning pallets and the preparation of delivery notes. 
–  Help the QC to ensure that temperature checks are recorded for all pallets leaving the despatch area.
–  Keep the despatch area clean and tidy at all times.
–  Other duties as and when required.
