The Cloud Pre-Sales Solution Architect is the technical lead for pre-sales customer engagements (including professional services and managed services). This person will scope professional services opportunities and assist in the preparation and delivery to customers of proposals and Statements of Work (SoW). The candidate must maintain an advanced level of technical expertise across a wide range of Azure services while also focusing on a specific area such as CAF, IaaS, DevOps, database services or application virtualisation to act as the subject matter expert for that specific subject. The candidate should have prior experience presenting Azure services and solutions to technical and non technical audiences, as well as communicating the benefits to their organisation, with the goal of driving growth for the Telefónica Tech UK&I Azure practise.
​​​​​​​Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with Product Managers, Sales, and Marketing to promote our solutions to customers. • Work with the relevant sales professionals to understand the Professional and Managed Services potential within their accounts. • Designs Cloud solutions with a focus on Azure. • Create cloud solution architecture that meets the needs of the customer and their business requirements. • Delivers customer Cloud strategies, aligned with business and security objectives. • Development and delivery of technology-specific presentations and demonstrations for project workshop situations or to properly define the uniqueness of a value offer. • Engage with customers on a long-term basis and drive Microsoft Azure adoption. • Develop collateral and GTM solutions to expand our go-to-market offering. • Work with the sales team on proposals and SOWs. • Working closely with our Microsoft account teams to maintain technological expertise. • Take the lead on proposals, ensuring that all information submitted for peer review is of high quality, as well as providing positive yet critical peer review to others. • Prepare high-quality content for any future webinars, workshops, and events. • Provides mentoring to aide in the development and growth of team members
