Job Description:
Associate Technical Designer
As an associate of the Technical Design team, you will be responsible for grasping an understanding of taking design and turning it into gameplay using our scripting and game editing tools. You will be the first customer of our extensive modding framework, using the framework itself to build the game while driving improvements to it.

Person Spec:
We’re looking for applicants who are self-driven, put players first, and that have a history of making cool stuff.
You enjoy solving technical problems, researching to understand new software development tools.
You thrive when learning and building. You enjoy helping to solve difficult problems to assist the team and/or pipeline eg as part of modding community or taking part in game jams.
You enjoy having conversations about what makes a game fun while trying to understand how each component contributes to the whole.
In return, we can offer an environment that values and supports individual creativity and passion and believes in fostering new talent.

Equal Opportunities Statement
“We are an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their sex; religious or similar philosophical belief; political opinion; race; age; sexual orientation; or, whether they are married or are in a civil partnership; or, whether they are disabled; or whether they have undergone, are undergoing or intend to undergo gender reassignment.”
We will monitor our programmes on an ongoing basis and target any under-represented groups as and when appropriate.
