Job Purpose
As bristling operator, you will commit to undertake responsibility for maintaining and operating the bristling machinery, and to ensure efficient running of the machines in line with production targets.

Key Accountabilities

• Setting up machines with the support of the Setter (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Feed materials or parts to semi-automated machines.
• Inspect parts with precision.
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Maintain activity logs.
• Skill, knowledge and Experience
• Proven experience in a production area
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations
• Ability to read, understand and follow Work Instructions/ SOP’s
• Attention to detail.
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength

• 12 hours shift work Paid 11.5 hours:
• 2 x week, 3 x 12 hrs shift  0800 hrs – 2000 hrs  = 34.5 hours
• 1x week, 4 x 12 hrs shift 0800 hrs – 2000 hrs  =46 hours

No weekend working
