We have an exciting opportunity for someone with previous account management experience within the NHS / Healthcare sales market to join our team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Manager is expected to retain existing business, while pursuing profitable growth opportunities within the healthcare market. This is a “hands-on” role where you will use your existing sales experience to pursue opportunities and see deals through to completion whilst working closely with internal departments. Key Responsibilities: • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets; • Manage a portfolio of accounts and grow existing accounts; • Manage & support with projects across the account base; • Build and develop relationships with key vendor Account Managers across accounts; • Prepare the commercial elements of a deal whilst fully understanding the supply chain, discount and margin modelling; • Maintain an appropriate level of technical knowledge and understanding across all company products and services in order to speak confidently to new and existing customers and identify cross-selling opportunities; • Maintain and expand relationships with existing customer base and provide them with excellent service and support; • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations to new and existing customers; • Ensure awareness of all competitor activities within accounts and preventing attrition; • Ensure that Salesforce is kept up to date of with notes of all new and existing relationships and interactions; • Work cross functionally with internal departments (i.e. Purchasing/Finance/PMO) to ensure that orders for products/services are delivered to a high standard; • Any other duties that are reasonably required to carry out the role
