The Account Director is responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts and maximising sales opportunities within them along with displaying a hunter-gatherer mentality and actively winning new work. As the main point of contact for your customer, you will have the job of establishing and building client relationships and working to gain a thorough understanding of their business and the market it operates in. You will seek out and identify new opportunities, following up with client meetings, propositions and proposals as appropriate. Your excellent leadership skills will also be brought to bear in the management of the delivery team, where you will be responsible for fostering the development of the team’s capabilities and expertise in line with client needs and market evolution.
